No Panic Sheffield

We know that coming to the first meeting can be daunting and requires some thought, we hope the information on the website helps a little. If you need more information then please e-mail. If you follow facebook or instagram we sometimes post some content about what sessions are coming up and what we've done.

e-mail: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

For on-line sessions, unfortunately people will have to do a referal form before attending. You can download a referral form here and e-mail it to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. on-line sessions are currently approximately fortnightly on Wednesday nights and will move to fortnightly on Mondays in 2022.

Organisations wanting to refer someone to a self help group

You can download a referral form (also above) and pass it onto a patient/family member. We are very happy for you to do this as it's likely to speed up how quickly someone would be able to attend a session. If you'd like more information that you cannot find on the website or through e-mailing us, then you can telephone us.

E-mail is typically answered in two to three days at present (December 2021). This is due to the large volume of e-mails and the organisation being 100% volunteers. We are also very short of volunteers at present. Since September we are spending a lot of time dealing with signposting to other organisations that unfortunately means it takes a bit longer to answer.

The NPS phone is 07505 712 164

Please note that volunteers who answer the telephone do not have any access to the e-mail and cannot give out the zoom link so ringing up does not 'speed up' how quickly things are dealt with.

We appreciate that 3rd party organisations may have a regulatory reason and duty of care to find out information for patients. We welcome caseworkers in various fields accompanying a new member to before the meeting, staying a short while or even for the whole of a first meeting. Similarly, new members may bring a family member the first time if that helps. We do not receive money from the NHS or local authority and it is not the case only people from Sheffield can attend. We have had members attend from Rotherham, Dronfield and Barnsley.

We have referrals from and had members as a result of

  • IAPT
  • SHSC
  • GPs
  • Crisis House
  • S.P.A. (single point of access)
  • Occupational therapists
  • Organisations dealing with domestic abuse
  • Organisations dealing with addiction and rehabilitation
  • Other mental health charities in the city
